Faith Lutheran Church:

A confessional, liturgical congregation gathered to receive God's gifts. We work to provide a beacon of light and hope to the community of Boulder, MT through the truth of God's Word.

Service and Event Schedule

Sunday Service

We join in the Divine Service at 10am each Sunday.

If you are new, please plan on coming a little early to speak with the Pastor, or call beforehand. This is so that you can learn about our practices and beliefs, so you are not surprised.

Sunday Bible Class

This class follows the Divine Service at usually begins around 11am.

This class covers different books of the Bible or different Lutheran teachings. We hope you can stay and join us for this. Plus there is usually snacks and treats!

Wednesday Bible Class

This class meets Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. We cover a variety of topics, generally aimed at covering the basics of the Christian faith.

Game Night

The second Friday of each month we gather to enjoy food, fellowship, and different games (i.e. dominoes, board games, or whatever you may bring).

Pot-Blessing

Instead of a Bible Class, on the third Sunday of the month, we join in a meal. People bring a variety of dishes to share and it is a great time of fellowship and food.

What We Believe

Faith Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod

We hold to the one holy, Christian, apostolic faith as found in God's Word, the Bible, and set down in the Book of Concord.

This faith is summarized in the Three Ecumenical Creeds: the Apostles', the Nicene, and the Athanasian. And you can look to Luther's Small Catechism for a summary of the faith, found here https://bookofconcord.org/small-catechism/.

Some Lutheran Characteristics:

1) The true and only God is the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as taught in Scripture.

2) The Bible is the true, inerrant Word of God. This means it is the sole and final authority on determining the truth of the what we teach and believe. And it means it is the voice of God, not a man-made book.

3) Jesus, who is fully and truly God and fully and truly Man, died to pay for the sins of the whole world, and He rose from the dead to give eternal life to all who believe in His name.

4) The gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation are given to those in this world through the Means of Grace: the Word of God, the Sacrament of Holy Baptism, the Absolution, and the Sacrament of the Altar.

5) Holy Baptism is how God washes away sin, adopts you as His, Child, and bestows faith. It is His work, not our decision.

6) The Sacrament of the Altar is the living body and blood of Jesus given in the bread and wine.
